A peek into my story
“I have always been fascinated by the human experience and like to constantly expand it.”
So I studied travel design and moved to Portugal 2015, to organize surfing holiday trips.
I had by then found a fascination and satisfaction to create experiences for people to discover something new about themselves or about life. Surfing was a highway straight into that discovery. Nothing made me feel more driven and excited than to see kids grow their confidence, glittering stars in the eyes of middle aged office rats, and families uniting as they were learning to fall, to surf and to be brave together.
To see humans shift their perception of what life could be like and rediscover their connection to nature and themselves, by making surfing available to them. Was deeply moving.
Why am I a designer?
As I’m a curious person with a deep craving for constant expansion, I decided 2022, at the age of 33, to move back to Sweden (scary and wonderful) to study UX design.
Putting myself in other peoples shoes daily, to discover problems as a spark for creating solutions was giving me similar feelings of drive. To create experiences and services that make people feel understood, make life better, easier and more inclusive, and work towards a more sustainable and holistic way of living on this planet, is deeply motivating.
Now my expertise is my life story boiled down into a fusion of experience design, service design, design thinking, CX and customer relations, communication, UX research, curiosity, creativity and empathy.
It’s also a hunger for learning and exploration. Always with a beginners mind approach: “the more I see the less I know”.
